Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
These boots were bought for work and have done 700 miles and sadly died, they have had a very rough year and a half and i have been very impressed with them and i will be buying them again :)
These type of boots last me 10 months as my every day on a variety of terrain. In last 2yrs both Peter Storm, Merrell have failed promptly so let’s see what these do. Broad fit unusual for Scarpa
First I’ve had that are genuinely waterproof, really comfortable and good grip.
Excellent boots comfortable straight from the box and properly sized
Been wearing these non-stop for ~18 months. They're light and comfortable - great for everyday use!
Sadly the toe cap is comeing free & the sole has worn through. These shoes cannot be resoled.
Light, comfortable and breathable, but little support. Same issue as below - toe cap stiching starting to fail (but still waterproof). V.slippy on wet rock/tarmac. Treat regularly with Graingers.
These boots a great, comfy as soon as you step out in them. They need waterproofing regularly, but, after about a year the rubber toe cap stitching fails the toe cap flares out and then lets in water.
nice pair of boots very comfortable and light second pair for me
An excellent fit and very comfortable
Third pair of these, very good fitting, v warm to wear good style, grip not too good, first two pairs leaked at the toe area after approx 12-18 months, The toe is now one piece as to two we’ll see
Been a great boot for about 10 months, then started to leak, always looked after these boots, when went back to store asking about the two year guarantee no one wanted to know!
Lightweight comfortable boots. Warm as well. I only had an issue with the grip as i slipped twice on my first hiking with these boots on the grass with some mud. Waterproof as well and look stunning.
fantastic boot, nice and warm even with standard work socks and fit well. been up and down some steep hills with loose surface and no issues with grip or water ingress in long grass. cant fault them
excellent boot warm comfortable stable good-looking to
I've been out on a few hikes since getting these boots as a gift for Xmas. They're lightweight, comfortable, sturdy and grippy. I'm really happy with these boots and I hope to have them for a long time.
Far better fitting than previous boot. very pleased with the 2018 boot, light and very comfortable.
I bought these after my wife complained about the short life of my karrimors. These certainly look the part. They are still a bit snug but I'm sure they will be fine after a few more weeks . By then most of my toes will have fallen off due to frostbite. My feet have never been colder. The last review mentioned the lack of grip. In fact Torvill & Dean would struggle to remain upright. Save your money, buy the own brand from Aldi or Lidl , at least your feet will stay warm.
Nearly a month on they're still really comfy and I love wearing them. I do notice on certain wet surfaces for example they are really slippy and gone a cropper a few times. Other than that they're great, just watch where your walking
Good straight out the box for both me and my fiancee. Light and as long as you do them up properly nice and secure. Are they worth full price. No but overall very good at a small dicount of £50 or so.
