Reviewed by Steve - 23rd Aug, 2018 Does the job Bought this to help keep the midges and mozies at bay while on holiday abroad and it did just that. A light coating and off you go. 2 weeks and only a couple of bites later and im happy with the product results. It's not the best product ive ever used for the job but certainly the best i would use on my children or anyone with a more sensative skin type.
Reviewed by Ali - 21st Aug, 2018 Seems good After being bitten and itching madly, I bought this product and no more bites! I spray onto hands and rub it in.
Reviewed by Bangles - 19th Jul, 2018 Smidge works. My wife and I have just returned from a week in Scotland. Used " Smidge " throughout. Only one bite received on my wife and we believe that to be a fly. Nothing else and I spent a day in the river, white water and canyoning No bites at all. Easy to apply, none sticky and no smell. 5 stars easy.
Reviewed by Wazza72 - 14th Jul, 2018 Good stuff Does what it says on the tin! Kept the midges away whilst camping near a river.
Reviewed by Tiffany - 3rd Jul, 2018 Should NOT be marketed family friendly I bought this product on the basis that it was marketed as family friendly, even for pregnant women, and it does not contain DEET. I googled the main ingredients and was happy to purchase. However, on a camping trip I quickly read the instructions, sprayed all over my exposed legs, arms, etc, then sprayed onto my hands and applied to my face. Within minutes my lips were stinging and going numb. I read the label again, realising I must have gotten a bit on the edge of my lip, and it said to contact poison control immediately if ingested! My tongue was beginning to go numb at this point (omg did I lick my lips?!) And so I began to swish water in my mouth and spit repeatedly. After about 15 min I became very dizzy and was panicking because I had three young children to look after and my husband wasn't joining us until the next day. Luckily I had a few friends with me and one helped me to the showers while another watched my kids. I washed my hair, face, body and brushed my teeth 3 times each and put my exposed clothes into a bag not to be touched. After about an hour I started to feel better and went to bed trying not to panic about something happening in the middle of the night, alone in the tent with my kids. I am SO GLAD that my kids were out of reach when I used this, as I would have put it on to them before I had the reaction. I cannot believe that this stuff is marketed for families. The label states not to eat, drink or smoke after using, I'm sorry but how is it practical to not let anything touch your mouth after you've sprayed this stuff on you?? Will be writing to manufacturer.
Reviewed by Jacko72 - 12th Jun, 2018 Get yersel Smidged !! I was an Avon Skin so Soft regular until someone told me they’d changed the recipe and it doesn’t work now. Tried Smidge for the first time at Fyne Fest in Argyle, it was great. Some people in our group had MULTIPLE bites, while I got 1 or 2. That’s a result for me & a massive thumbs up for Smidge.
Reviewed by Brogan - 7th Jun, 2018 A repellant that actually works Used this recently camping by Loch Venachar. Kepts the midgies away for most of the day and night. Unfortunately i forgot to reapply as they werent bothering me and had a few bites in the morning, bur that was obviously my fault. Maybe should reapply every 3 or 4 hours but i wasn’t bothered for 6 hours plus.
Reviewed by Jonny C - 6th Jun, 2018 Great product Best midget repellent on the market. Unlike other repellent’s it sprays on similar to a cream and doesn’t like a greesy grime in your skin. Plus it’s very good at keeping the dredded midge away. Highly recommend this.
Reviewed by Steve Alston - 21st Sep, 2017 Smudges the buggers! Great repellent, works very well, easy to apply and doesn't make you sore even around eyes and lips. Midges love it, not, you won't get bitten with this!

Reviewed by WhaleWatcher - 1st Sep, 2017 At last a solution to midges I was impressed by the effectiveness of the product. After applying Smidge the midges moved to other people not protected. Once applied I did not receive a midge bite with the tell-tale red circle. Fabulous!
