Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

WAIST: Measure around the smallest part of your waist (natural waistline).
HIPS: Stand with your heels together and measure around the fullest part.
INSIDE LEG: Measure from the top of your inner leg, along the inside seam to the bottom of your leg.
By far the best jacket I’ve ever owned. Bought it last winter and I’ve worn it most days outside of summer. Even recently in -5 temperatures you really don’t need more than a T-shirt underneath while walking. The fabric repels dirt really well and can be cleaned with a quick wipe.
It repels water well but anything more than a shower and you’ll need a waterproof.
It can be worn on the mountainside and also in the city. Excellent value for money and even more so when reduced in price.
Really warm, standing on a station platform in Jan, with the wind blowing, just wearing a shirt and this jacket yet super toasty.
Very light, good elastic cuffs.
Nice and warm jacket
Bought for my 17year old Son and worn in the Alps for a week skiing. It didn't snow so not sure on the waterproofing however, it was extremely warm with a base and mid layer with the weather at -7. Cannot recommend enough even with the high price which did make me doubt the purchase.
If you are after a stylish jacket to keep you warm during winter then I would recommend taking a look at this jacket.
A very stylish and warm jacket. I'm normally a medium , but the Large was a much better fit as the medium was way too small
Great product. Fits well, looks great, comfortable and warm. Great quality. Arrived on time for Christmas. Thanks
A practical outdoor jacket, providing warmth durability and comfort. Can be compacted down into a small bag and lightweight. Purchased for Everest base camp trek in 2019.
This is my first down jacket and it was purchased for a December trip to Iceland to see the Northern Lights.
I wore the jacket out in -5 degrees with quite a wind, so the wind chill factor would have taken that temperature lower.
For most of the 7 days in Iceland, I wore one 200 weight merino base layer, a t-shirt, the microlight alpine jacket, plus a gore-tex shell coat on the exterior and this kept me nice and warm (provided one is also wearing suitable gloves, a hat, trousers, woollen socks and suitable walking boots/shoes)
I was moving most of the time whilst outside, so it was absolutely ideal.
As I was photographing the Northern Lights, I literally had periods of 45 minutes plus of standing around in -6/-7 with a icey wind as well, at two locations per night, to which I added a second merino base layer, plus a ski jacket I borrowed, over the microlight alpine jacket. This kept my core nice and warm.
For 99% of the time, provided one is moving outside, i.e walking, this jacket is perfect.
If one was regularly standing around outside, I would recommend the next model up, the 800 weight 'expedition' feather down - but this is quite abit more expensive and less compactable if you often travel lightly (as I do)
All in all, I am absolutely delighted with this jacket, which I plan on using with my gore-tex shell jacket and I look forward to many years of use.
This is a lovely looking jacket that is very snug and oozes quality. The rust coloured one I bought is high viz too, which is great if you're in mountain terrain. But it looks up market and great if you're out and about in town too. This jacket will make you feel special, believe me.
Highly recommend this, very warm and great quality, thinking of buying others
Just what I was looking for. Extremely warm and very nice fit. Not really tested it in very cold weather yet but it feels erith its going to be very warm.
This is a great looking jacket that is warm and cosy, very well made too. Wish I’d bought it before winter.
Best jacket I have ever purchased used it every day so far cold and snowy wet conditions handled with ease
Been wanting to buy a warm winter coat for a while and the price tag was a big outlay for me but it is honestly worth every penny. “The Beast From The East” is no problem for this coat, walked the dogs today in a blizzard and was toasty warm. Highly recommended
Warm. Lightweight. Packs down into small bag. What more can you need.
Love this coat its really warm and light. Exactly what i wanted. Highly recommended
I recently bought this jacket, being out in all weathers with the dog, this ticks all the boxes, very light very warm and rain proof, excellent! Love it! I strongly recommend Rab garments, made for purpose!
Very warm, feels great. Nice and light too. Couldn’t recommend more
Purchased this jacket as I was sick of removing feathers that continually leached out of another down jacket from a different manufacturer. This one does not shed the down at all staying inside the jacket and doing the job it is supposed to do, keeping me warm. Well made with good deep pockets and very comfortable cuffs. Excellent fit over a large range of movement. The zips work well and the flap behind the main zip eliminates heat escaping. The hood does a good job the only moan is that I wish Rab wouldn't insist on making all their hoods helmet compatible. It means that the hood is too large for 99%of the time unless adjusted at the back. Having said that this really is a great jacket and for the level of performance it provides I wouldn't mark it down for what is just a personal preference.
