Own Opinion
The picture shown is not the current product being sold, the item you buy has a thick rib down either side which gives more hacksaw prevention. Take a look at the real thing and you'll see what I mean.

This review is my own opinion, this product is 5*.
I nearly let the 1* review put me off and i went and bought the Milenco hitch lock instead.
The Milenco hitch lock is very similar however it doesn't have a hacksaw proof system like this product does, also this product has a reinforced section down either side of the housing to make it more secure against anyone with a hacksaw. Both the locking shaft and the housing are designed to give extra protection, far better than the Milenco similar product. The main benefit of this product is that it is either handed, you insert the shaft from the left or right and do the locking with the other hand. The majority of the nation is right handed so why Milenco would you design a lock for left handed people? I ended up taking the Milenco Hitch lock back for a refund and buying this product, I'm very satisfied and think it's far superior to the Milenco alternative and significantly cheaper too with saver card. Any lock you buy is a deterrent, i feel this lock is a good one and recommend that you buy it with confidence,

Lost my keys got AA out got it off with an ordinary hacksaw and mole grips in less than ten minutes only made of 2mm mild steel would not recommend it.
