Easy to use, safe, high performance waterproofing and UV blocker for all synthetic weatherproof textiles.
Nikwax Tent and Gear SolarProof adds DWR, increases fabric strength & protects against UV deterioration.
One application can double the effective life of fabrics, by protecting against UV damage, while also providing Durable Water Repellency (DWR) to keep the rain out.
It can be applied to wet or dry synthetic fabrics.
Synthetic fabrics used for tents and rucksacks are coated with a water repellent treatment. Ultraviolet light both destroys the water repellency and reduces the fabric's tear strength, significantly shortening the lifespan of equipment.
To most effectively benefit from the UV and DWR protection of Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof, it's best applied to new equipment.
Over time the DWR will wear off through use. Both the DWR and UV protection can be replenished by reapplication of Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarProof®.

Gave my brolley 2 coats , easy to apply. Quick test as rainproof , did its job. Should give me good service for more seasons to come. Bought extra to be sure when needed.

Only Bought one, Could of maybe needed Two, to cover Awning. Not Sure of how Effective it is until I use Awning in about a Month.
Simple to use
I used this on my tent during a camping trip first thing in the morning whilst it was still wet from an overnight shower and let the sun dry it off before packing away. As a single mum I now don't need to put the tent up especially. Really simple and effective.

I have used this waterproofer for years on all kinds of outdoor clothing and equipment. I have always been happy with the result. The irony is that I have never actually used it on a tent.

We sprayed this onto our new tent first time up just to try to help waterproof it (tent was only 1,500mm waterproof) and we were expecting a sunny holiday - really glad we did as the tent stayed completely dry over 4 days of continuous and heavy rain. Pretty sure this helped!
Work perfectly
Bought this to try and sort out a leaking porch awning. After one application in a bit of drizzle it is like a new awning. I will be buying another bottle to finish the job.

Great Bit of kit
Bought this spray after using my tent in poor weather conditions. In the Lake District for a week and basically rained on for the whole duration, after about the 4th day I noticed water droplets coming into the tent. Once I was home I washed the tent, applied the spray and I must say the tents ability to repel water has been restored. Great product!

Does what it says on the tin
I've used this on a omega 350 and on a tarp, nice and simple to use and works a treat, my advice is to apply when your tent is damp as it goes on a lot easier and you use less of the product but get the same results.
