I can't praise Fabsil enough. After buying a new tent which leaked like a sieve, my local camping shop eventually replaced it with another new tent which ealso leaked ! I decided I would have to try and seal it myself, this I tried on about 3 seperate occasions with seam sealant only for it to all peel off the minute the tent got remotely warm. With a thunderstorm forcast I was starting to get desperate and decided to try Fabsil, and thank goodness I did as that night there was the most torrential storm which flooded many roads around the campsite and infact flooded several areas of the site itself. I was very apprehensive but when I checked the leaking seams there wasn't a drop of water to be found, before using fabsil there had been puddles! So this is why I call it my new best friend not because I'm sad but because it stopped my from waking up in a puddle !!! I have no hesitation in recommending this product and will always keep a can in my tent bag from now on.

I would totally recomend this item as it did exactly as it was supposed to. On a trip 2 days after treating my 2 tents it did its job and didnt let a drop in. The 1 thing however is that it would have been good to be given a rough guide of huw much is required i.e. 2 cans for a 6 berth as I did need to make a return trip for more.

I had a tent that started letting water seap through it. So rather than spending hundreds on it's replacement I thought I would try waterproofing it...
It worked really well and saved me a furtune! I bought two cans as I have an eight berth tent, but still have about half a can left with a good coating on my tent.
Only downsides are that a lot of the spray goes off with the wind and that after spraying the tent my finger ached from holding the button down for so long, but these are clearly just minor issues. Product works very well indeed!
