GO Outdoors Discount Card (£5 a Year)

Well worth spending £5 on this card. Bought a bike at the Sheffield branch, staff were very helpful and despite a few hiccoughs would definitely recommend this store.

I visited the New Milton Keynes store to equip my 14 year old daughter for D of E. In total I made a saving of over £90 on the equipment and clothing I bought.

I made extensive searches on the internet for the same items. Go outdoors pre discount prices were not in the main higher than other online sites, but the discount card did help to bring down the price.
Also the manager price matched a pair of Brasher women's fellmaster GTX boots to a lower price which I had found online, + reduced the boots by a further 10% which meant I had made a saving of over £30, just on the boots.
The discount card is well worth having.

The staff were very helpful and advised on product savings I could make.

I would recommend Go outdoors for D of E equipment.
Obviously different stores hold different brands of equipment so it is not straightforward to get a price match on every brand that I might want.

I am very please we now have a Go Outdoors here in Milton Keynes.
