The Day Shelter Pop Up uses a traditional bivvy design and is absolutely perfect for short sessions due to its low weight and size.
It is easy to transport and can be erected in just a couple of minutes. It has more coverage and stability than an umbrella, and can be placed over tackle when the rain comes down in seconds.
Due to its unique shape and size means there is enough height and width to accommodate two anglers, chairs and kit in comfort.
The frame is based on a two pole pram hood design with 5000 HH Waterproof material. The shape makes it remarkably stable even in very windy and wet conditions.
The large open front means that you can cast with ease even from a sitting position. Easy to erect and dismantle... in seconds.

Poor Quality
Absolute rubbish, just fills up with water in the rain. Poor design, poor build quality. A complete waste of money
Folding down
Fold the 3 section arms in over so you are left with a spider like affair about 900mm in dia. Press discs with the arms at top together and it all folds in over. Can't get it back in the bag though
No Instructions
Looks great up but how do you put it back down ???
Excellent product, Easy to put up and down.
Bought for me on fathers day two years ago. So easy to put up in seconds. Ideal for storing all my fishing gear and to shelter in if needed. Found it difficult to pack it back into bag afterwards.

Excellent Shelter
Just bought the shelter, thought l would do a dummy run with it. Easily erected in less than a minute, but the instructions on how to collapse are very poor. After watching a you tube video found it very easy to collapse.
How to collapse squeeze the top and middle disc together., then follow the rest of the instructions.

Excellent wow price on offer, used it the weekend took 2 mins to assemble and loads of room, couldnt get it to fold down as was locked into place, took to lakeside store still assembled and 6 of the staff couldnt get it to fold down so design fault.
West lake day shelter
Used this little shelter today for first time. It was raining all the water lay in tent. Very disapointed with it. No shelter to it at all

We purchased a westlake popup day shelter from Go Compare. Good price, however popping it up no problem but dismantling it impossible . We returned it to Go Outdoors who were very good and try as they might gave up. The Carbon fibres from the supports left us with a number of splinters, not good. Thank you Go Outdoors for your help and the full refund.

Great shelter, kept me and a fellow angler dry all day in torrential rain and gusting wind. Highly recommended.

Decent day shelter. Very quick to set up. Keeps you dry as long as you sit as far back as you can inside the shelter. Do not use in windy conditions, sides give out easier than you would expect from a £70 shelter.
