Final details have been unveiled of the Split Festival's main stage line-up, which may please those heading to Sunderland with their camping gear.

Held at the city's West Lawn Club on the weekend of September 17th and 18th, the event will now include Beth Jeans Houghton, Dinosaur Pile Up, Grandfather Birds, James and the Wolf, Little Comets, Loudmouth, Mystery Jets, Retriever, Shields, Spector, The Generals, The King Blues, The Rifles and Vinyl Jacket.

These bands were named today (July 25th) on the festival's Facebook page, with the new names joining bands such as The Charlatans, Frankie and The Heartstrings, We Beat the System, Hyde & Beast and The Dauntless Elite.

Ross Millard from the Futureheads is among the event's organisers and he helped to pick the bands who are playing.

Fans have been advised tickets are still available at this time for anyone keen to go after learning who is playing.
