Those hoping to spend a weekend in tents at the Reading Festival must now look to the resale market after the official supply of weekend tickets sold out.

Although day passes - which do not allow camping - are still available, the opportunity to buy full weekend passes directly has now gone, leaving anyone still hoping to go needing to turn to the Viagogo website for spares and cancellations.

Festival organisers have stated this is the only website that official resales can take place through, with the danger that those seeking a ticket from another source may end up being scammed.

As of today's date (July 27th), there are still weekend passes on sale for Leeds, which has largely the same line-up as Reading but in a different order.

Performers on show include Muse, Elbow, Pulp, The Strokes, Pete Doherty, Flogging Molly, Pulled Apart By Horses and Mercury Prize nominees Everything Everything.

The festivals take place over the bank holiday weekend of August 26th to 28th.
