All five Scottish ski resorts are open for business today, with new snow offering some fresh opportunities to take to the slopes.

While most of Britain has thawed out after the recent arctic spell, the highland resorts at Glencoe, Glen Shee, Nevis Range, Cairn Gormand the Lecht are still offering plenty of fun for those looking to don their ski goggles.

The Nevis Range, Glen Shee and Cairn Gorm have reported new snow, while Glencoe, Cairn Gorm and Glen Shee are expecting more falls today (January 28th).

Glen Shee stated that this will improve conditions at the course.

Such news may delight those who want to pick up some men's skiwear or women's skiwear and join those who have already been taking advantage of the abundance of snow this winter.

Those keen to ski in England can also look forward to more opportunities over the next few days.

Ski-Allenheads in the North Pennines has said it has good conditions and is anticipating more snowfall in the next few days.
