Three up-and-coming Scottish bands will be showing off their talents next month at the Loopallu Festival.

The Scottish Highland event takes place in the coastal village of Ullapool and fans heading there with their camping equipment can enjoy AWS, The Imagineers and Finding Albert, three bands who have excelled in the GoNorth Festival Tour this summer.

Fans will be able to see the groups closing the event and director of the tour Shaun Arnold commented: "The Festival Tour has proved a massive success so far and we are really excited to be taking three of the most exciting emerging bands in the country up to Ullapool next month."

Loopallu organisers have announced all tickets are now sold except a few available from the North West Outdoors in the village itself for the festival, which takes place over the weekend of September 16th and 17th.

The timing of the event at the very end of summer may be a good reason to invest in warm sleeping bags.

Loopallu's 2011 line-up mixes big name bands like The Buzzcocks and The Feeling with Celtic talent such as Skerryvore and the Ullapool Pipe Band.
