The Wizard Festival has revealed the identities of more of the acts featuring at the event, which will be held at the New Deer Show Ground near Aberdeenshire over the August bank holiday.

Among four new acts announced are The Magic Numbers, who will appear before the Stranglers on the Friday, while the Saturday bill now includes the singer and songwriter Tommy Reilly, both of which may excite those heading north with their tents.

In addition to this, The Twang and The Bad Shepherds have also been added to the line up, with the latter group featuring former Young Ones star Ade Edmondson.

The festival's line up "gets better and better" each year, declared organiser Roy Thain.

He added: "We know that Wizard fans love their live music, camping and dancing so we are making sure we tick all those boxes for them."

The event runs on August 26th and 27th, with those keen to camp having this included in their weekend or Saturday ticket.
