Those planning on spending the weekend of the Leeds Festival in tents will now be able to see a range of stand-up comedians on the Alternative Stage.

Organisers have revealed that acts lined up for this year include Angelos Epithemiou, who has appeared on the TV show Shooting stars, Tom Deacon from the BBC's Switch show and veteran of the Edinburgh fringe Andrew O' Neill.

Another piece of news is that the Saturday of the event will see a human car wash making an appearance, helping people to freshen up.

Those going to the event who want to increase their comfort may wish to buy some camping furniture before they go, or more cosy sleeping bags in case the late summer nights get a bit chilly.

Held from August 27th to 29th in Bramham Park, the event has sold out its standard tickets, but some coach packages - involving coach travel plus a weekend ticket - are still available.
