Green Man Festival adds to line-up

Those planning to spend a few days in tents at the Green Man Festival in August may be a bit more tempted to head for their sleeping bags at an unconventional hour, after new additions were made to the late-night line-up.

Its Far out After Dark programme will now include Andrew Weatherall, Squarepusher, the 2 Bears and Ewan Pearson, with these performers playing until 04:00 BST each night.

The festival is named after the pub on site and it has a 24-hour licence, so much merrymaking will be in order.

And more acts have been added to the line-up for other times of the day, including The Driftwood Tree, We Were Evergreen and She Keeps Bees.

Big name acts headlining at the event include Noah and the Whale and James Blake.

The festival takes place from August 19th to 21st on the banks of the River Usk near Crickhowell in the Brecon Beacons, which may prompt some to come for longer, pack their hiking boots and climb mountains such as Pen y Fan.
