Glencoe Mountain has sent another email to fans of the resort reminding them of its upcoming spectacular for fans of mountain bikes.

The MaCavalanche meeting ion 28th and 29th May will feature some of the top riders in the sport and staff have revealed more details about the events of the weekend.

It stated: "This will be an awesome spectator event with at least 80 trades stands, most of the worlds top riders, a live band and the monster truck all being in attendance."

Organisers also noted viewing from the bottom of the track is free, while unlimited daily viewing from the chairlift for a day is £10 for adults and £5 for children.

The centre on the slopes of Meall a' Bhuiridh is currently adjusting to the summer season after a winter of skiing.

Other Scottish ski resorts also offer summer mountain biking, with the Nevis Resort having a world championship track and facilities also available at Lecht in the Cairngorms.
