The Glencoe Ski resort has announced some changes to its online ticket booking system.

In an email to those who may be heading for the Highlands venue in their ski clothing, the company has said online booking now involves getting open tickets that are valid for the whole season.

These include a beginner's pass, a midweek day pass and weekend pass.

It stated: "You can book now and then just choose when you want to visit. Just make sure you choose the correct option when you buy."

Those looking forward to getting their ski pants on again may be excited by the news that the resort has seen more snow, with the webcam showing more falls of the white stuff.

Located on the slopes of Meall a'Bhuiridh, Glencoe is one of five ski resorts in the Hghlands, with three of these in the Cairngorms and the other being the Nevis Range near Fort William.
