The boss of Glastonbury's Arcadia arena has promised this year's combination of music, light and sound will be even better than ever.

Speaking to the festival website, Pip Rush said he was keeping mum about changes to the stage, commenting: "There are lots of new ridiculous plans unfolding at the moment, you'll have to come and see which we pull off!"

But, the manager said, the Midnight Spectacular is one 2011 event fans should look forward to, as it has had hundreds of "artists, performers and technicians" working on it and it will be a "one-off" for this year's Glastonbury only.

Everyone coming to their own event has their own view on what makes a good performance and Mr Rush said his Glasto favourite was a huge mud fight.

The line-up for Arcadia includes Stanton Warriors, Orkestra De Sol, Wobbly Squadron, Neville Staple of the Specials, Atomic Drop and Dub Mafia.
