The T in the Parkfestival has begun a general sale of tickets today (July 15th) for its 2011 edition.

Held over the weekend of Thursday July 8th to Sunday 11th July at Balado in Kinross-shire, the event will offer music fans the chance to spend a weekend sleeping in festival tents and enjoying a range of acts.

This year saw over 85,000 people experiencing performances by the likes of Kasabian, Eminem, The Black Eyed Peas and Stereophonics among the 180 acts.

A ticket that includes camping on the Thursday before the festival as well as the whole weekend costs £199.95, while a Bus package - including a return coach ticket with Scottish Citylink - costs £218.50.

Fans planning to go to the event or take in other festivals may wish to make their stay more comfortable by investing in items such as new sleeping bags.

Following the recent GlastonburyFestival, the event's website has opened registration for tickets to the 2011 version.
