Those keen on learning about the interesting techniques used in making dry stone walls could pull on their
walking boots and head to the North York Moors National Park this month.
On Sunday May 16th and Sunday May 30th the park will be hosting two dry stone wall events at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre.
Commenting on the days, which are certainly an ideal opportunity for walking fans to test any new
hiking equipment they may have, the National Park Authority's Events and Exhibitions co-ordinator Sally Ann Smith said: "The workshops are a fun and informative day for people looking to create similar structures in their garden or who perhaps are just curious to find out how they are made."
Walkers can get to the park via the Moorsbus service, the park authority advised.
Back in March, the bus company introduced new routes aimed at making the service easier to use.
