Those heading to Glastonbury for a few days of tents, sleeping bags and music can expect to enjoy the voice of Corinne Bailey Rae, who is the latest act to be confirmed for the event.

In an interview with BBC 6 Music, the singer told presenter Lauren Laverne: "We are playing at Glastonbury, we're hoping to do a gig on a bigger stage but also a secret gig somewhere else as well."

She made the announcement just as her new album - The Sea - has gone on release.

Those keen to see Corinne Bailey Rae and the other acts at the famous Somerset festival may wish to stock up on equipment to ensure they have a good long weekend camping.

Among the acts confirmed for Glastonbury are Jack Johnson and U2, with organiser Michael Eavis hinting this week that Muse and Stevie Wonder will also be in the line-up.

He revealed the names while speaking at the Event Production Show in Olympia on February 2nd.
