Those intending to go caravanning this summer may be persuaded to try doing so in the Norfolk Broads at an upcoming event.

A combined campaign by the Broads Authority and the Broads Tourism Forum will present Enjoy the Broads 2010 at the Boat and Caravan Show, which starts today (February 23rd) and will run until February 28th at the National Exhibition Centre near Birmingham.

In addition to this, the campaign is distributing 175,000 brochures to hotels, visitor attractions and public transport facilities across East Anglia.

Commenting on the event, head of tourism at the Broads Authority Bruce Hanson said: "We are keen to encourage more visitors from the Midlands and throughout the UK and we are putting on a really good display to show them what we have to offer."

People wishing to take a caravan to the Norfolk Broads area may find a number of sites in the area.

These include Eastern Beach Caravan Park at Caister-on-Sea near Great Yarmouth and Reedham Ferry and The Archers Touring Park, which lies in the national park.
