Removal of mandatory restrictions.
The legal requirement for face masks has now ended. As the UK's No. 1 outdoor retailer we care about your safety. We encourage you to remain considerate by maintaining some social distance in our stores. Customers and colleagues are welcome to use masks and hand sanitiser. Checkout screens and regular cleaning of touchpoints will continue.

Facemasks required in stores.
In line with changes in Government guidelines, it is now a legal requirement to wear a mask in our stores. We encourage you to remain considerate by maintaining some social distance. Please feel free to use hand sanitiser.
All stores are now open
All of our stores are now open for all customers. Please follow the safety guidelines in store and be considerate to our staff and other customers. In some cases stores may have to use extra restrictions, or operate on reduced hours. Please check our store finder for details of each store opening times and any restrictions in place.

Stores are now open!
We are delighted that our stores in England and Wales are now open for all customers, with social distancing measures and sanitizing in place for customer and staff safety. Please respect our staff and other customers by following the guidelines once in store, and please do not visit if you have any symptoms of Covid-19.
Our stores in Scotland and N. Ireland remain open for essential retail only.

Extended returns period during lockdown
Our returns period has now been extended so that any items purchased after November 1st 2020 can be returned when it is safe to do so, up to May 1st 2021.

Changes to stores during lockdown
Out stores remain open for essential cycling and outdoor needs. Our Hathersage and Southport stores are closed. We have reduced our opening hours and continue to practice social distancing and regular cleaning. If visiting a store please wear a facemask and be prepared to queue if the store is at capacity.

Welsh stores update
Following the announcement of tighter lockdown restrictions in Wales, we would like to advise that, due to being classified as essential retailing, your GO Outdoors stores in Wales will continue to trade during the lockdown period.

Face coverings required in stores
Please note that in line with changes to the law for all shops, face coverings will be required in our GO Outdoors stores from Friday 24th July onwards. We will provide free face masks in stores for any customers that need them. View our store finder to find your nearest store.

Extended delivery times
Due to an increase in demand for our products online and the following of strict safety measures, deliveries are taking longer than usual. This is to allow us to be able to follow social distancing measures and ensure orders get to customers safely. We estimate orders will reach most customers in up to 7 working days and we thank you for your continued patience.

Extended Delivery Times
We are working hard to ensure orders are processed quickly and safely. However, to keep up with the increased demand of online shopping, and to protect our colleagues, we have temporarily extended delivery times to 5-7 days. During this time next day delivery will not be available.

Extended Store Returns
We are extending out returns policy to make life a little easier. Any purchase made in stores before the temporary closure can be returned up to 28 days after stores reopen.

Measures Taken in Distribution Centre
We have taken every possible measure to protect our colleagues in our distribution centre during these difficult times. This includes introducing 2m social distancing throughout all areas and making hand sanitiser, wipes and PPE equipment freely available. We have also implemented staggered shifts and identified an isolation room for anyone who starts to show symptoms of Covid-19.

Store Closures
We all want to do our bit to help halt the spread of COVID 19. The health and wellbeing of our staff and customers is of the utmost importance to us and we have made the decision to close our stores for the time being.
This is a temporary measure and we will reopen as soon as things improve and it is advisable. In the meantime we remain online and available 24/7 with flexible delivery options and an extended return policy to give you peace of mind.
We want to take the opportunity to thank each and every one of our customers for their continued support in this challenging climate. We can’t wait to see you all soon back in the outdoors.
