I bought this to use at Kielder Forest in April '24. It's not a 4 season bag and shouldn't be listed as one, my 2 season bag is warmer than this. I was clothed and still shivered all night.
I took a risk and bought this bag, and boy, it was money well spent! I tested it at around +2 - it was really warm.
I cannot disagree more with reviewers claiming it was a 2 season sleeping bag...
Advertised as a 4 season bag with comfort to -2. This is about as far from the truth as possible. This bag was not warm on a 9°c night. It's a 2 season bag at best.
We bought 2 of these as the stated warmth was much better than those of similar price. In reality the bags are much colder than 1 season summer sleeping bags we have. Get a down sleeping bag instead.
Bag is just a year old and has been used for under 10 nights sleeping. It was cold to sleep in and the seam down the front has completely given way. Can't get through to Go outdoors customer service
very disappointed this is no way a four season bag perhaps a 2+ at best. i was buying a cold weather bag now need t get another
This comfort ratings for this bag need urgent review. It claims to be comfortable down to freezing temperatures but there's no way that's accurate. I was chilly at 7 degrees!
Good price
Preposterous thermal rating!
I’m a warm sleeper and in this bag I was cold indoors!
Instead, I recommend the Eurohike Adventurer 400 Bag
Bit thin, in some places very thin, on padding. Not a four season bag. Summer bag at best.
This is not a 4 season sleeping bag I wouldn’t use this bag in temperatures below 8degrees I have had a poor experience so far, it will be ideal in spring
its an ok bag for reasonable weather I personally wouldn't use this in anything below 6 / 7oC. absolutely not the comfort rating its quoted at
I like this bag a lot. As others have said, this is not a four season bag, far from it. It is, however, a decent bag for use outside of Winter. Very cosy and a nice feel.
Packs down fairly small and pretty lightweight BUT, it is inaccurately rated in terms of its thermal properties. It is definitely not suitable for winter use but OK for late spring-early autumn.
As a warm sleeper, I was cold when the temperature dropped to 12 degrees. OEX, you need to re-rate this bag's performance as your temperature rating is way off.
Hoping this fills up a bit after being compressed in the bag. Not slept in it yet so remains to be seen if it is warm. Will be taking a liner just in case!
Light, easy to repack, good price, but it is nowhere near 4 season. For summer its great, takes up little space and is light. I used it as a liner for a bigger bag and kept very warm in winter.
Great sleeping bag for the price (I got mine for £59). Personally I think this is a good 2 season, or 3 season if it's above 8 degrees.
idk what these people are using for camping? Must be camping without a a tent i used my banshee and this bag in -3 degrees, and slept perfectly for 8 hours. maybe consider a tent before going out camp
