The Men's Eskdale II is a dedicated outdoor walking shoe with StormGrip outsole for extra stability. Modelled on a wide last, it allows freedom of movement and is comfortable and compatible with thick hiking socks. Fully waterproof and featuring a breathable membrane, the Eskdale will keep feet dry from inside and out. It has a 100% rubber compound outsole with a deep cleat profile and has a thick midsole for greater protection over all types of mountain terrain.

Poor quality

Split leather
As last review...at first one of the most comfortable shoes I've had but split appeared on instep bend after a year and now the other one has gone the same way.

Great shoes
I've been wearing these shoes pretty much every day for 3 months & I couldn't be more pleased with them. I do a lot of walking, typically >10,000 steps per day and these shoes are hardly touched.

Shoddy
I had these shoes for just over a year and the leather has split on both shoes. I had trusted the brand, their coats are great but these shoes are obviously made with inferior products.

I'm very disappointed in my current pair which I've had less than 3 months & hardly worn them. However the plastic moulding around the front of both shoes has already started pulling away
