Good but flawed

Good but not waterproof
They are OK - I don't get any blisters, no matter how many hours I spend on the trail. However description "waterproof" is anything but true - if they are made of goretex it must be a very poor one.

No way would I recommend these...not waterproof.
I bought a pair of these walking shoes back in February 2024 from the Pudsey Go Outdoors store.
To say these shoes are waterproof is laughable and the stitches began to come apart in April.

Dreadful in terms of waterproof status!
Bought these but when in wet weather, I was left with very wet feet. These "waterproof" walking shoes are in no way waterproof!
I paid full price for them and am very disappointed. Not recommended!

Glad I didn’t pay full price
Very comfortable shoe. Grip on wet surfaces is unreliable. Calling them waterproof is a big fat lie. I would not wear them in the wet. Can’t wait to get my meindels back from repair.

Poor Performance
Had these for 11 months although I didn’t use them for the first 3, they are slippery on wet surfaces and over the next few months they started leaking and the sole has worn down quickly

So so shoes
Gore tex does not seem to work , shoes started to squeak after a few months of wear. Comfortable, grip seems ok, but the squeak is really annoying.

Gortex poor text.
Bought and walked through woodland wet grass and hills for about three weeks and wet feet every time, got them changed for a pair of scarpa vortex GTX, go outdoors were great with the exchange.

Poor gortex
Very comfortable straight from the box sole is a bit slippery on wet rock but the shoes do not keep your feet dry Very surprised the gortex if it is gortex let's the water in, not recommended

First walk
Just used these in anger for the first time. Ingleton Waterfall Walk. Really comfortable, giving great feeling of security when walking in damp and wet conditions. I can't comment on the longevity.

Not as comfy as the Moab 2 gtx's
Bought my usual one size larger but these seem a bit tighter than my old Moabs, the sole is a bit less flexible than the Moabs also.
Time will tell if they last as well, delivery service is lousy.

Not that great. Worn out must faster than other brands
Walking shoes usually last me 2 years on average. Sole very worn after six months and developed an annoying squeak where I suspect the sole is probably punctured. Poor grip on wet tarmac.

Replacement shoes for faulty Moab 2 GTX just over 12 mts old
Go Outdoors Hill St. Sheffield very kindly replaced faulty shoes for these.
New sole much better than previous ‘Vibram’ sole
Good grip in heavy and icy conditions
Fairly wide comfortable fit

Very comfortable, but had two pairs of these after exchanging the first, both had bits of the sole fall off, wear away quickly, and developed an annoying loud squeak. Clearly a design flaw.
