Men's Scarpa Footwear Size Guide
Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.

straight out of the box these are seriously comfortable they are by far the most comfortable walking boots I've ever owned. they have very good grip & are extremely well waterproofed. bravo scarpa
Good boots, let down by non-grip sole
Great for waterproofness and comfort, but - unusually for Scarpa - the sole has very little grip, becoming treacherous on some wet stone and rock.
My only consolation was that I got them for £99
Trail Blazer
Got to say really liking these boots so far. Super lightweight too. Already put them through hell Long distance, bogs, snow, ice, scrambling rocks, heavy down pours. Surviving all.
Dissapointed
Bought these boots for comfort for 15 mile plus hikes. Within this time the soles have come away. Shame really as very comfortable.
Comfortable, waterproof, lightweight
Overall a brilliant shoe for the money, unfortunately the laces are abit awkward to get right, with them going the whole way down to your toes its very easy to over tighten or have them too slack. 4*

Scarpa Boreas GTX £171
First impressions; good, instant comfort. However the soles on these boots are not sturdy as described. They are very floppy, akin to slippers. They are not suitable for rocky terrain. Disappointed.
Comfy but leaked
I bought these only one day ago and have just come back from my early morning dog walk. Extremely comfortable but after walking through the long wet grass I have a very wet left foot. Very dissappoint
Brilliant
I have a pair of Scarpa Rush Trek, didn’t think any boots could match them, but wow, These are so comfortable out the box they feel so springy. Are they as sticky underfoot as rush trek time will tell
Impressed
Comfortable straight out of the box, enough width. Used in extreme wet and so far after 8 weeks use and approx 100miles very dry. Lightweight but good vibram sole. Good value.
Super Hill Climbing Boots
Definitely the best boots I have owned to date for sure, lightweight, comfortable and easy to clean, quick spray with grangers and they are ready to go.
Best of all really good traction climbing.
Great lightweight boots
Have a big trekking climb to do in morroco and needed something lightweight but supportive and durable. These are 40% lighter than my leather boots but have all the features a mountain boot needs.

I recently purchased the Scarpa These new boots are very lightweight and provide plenty of width. They really are comfortable to wear and we’re perfect for my Everest base camp trek
Great boot out of the box, but after a simple hike, the sole has started to come away. Beware, maybe not the best purchase option.
