The temperature-regulating Merino wool lining is much finer and softer than regular wool, and it offers moisture control, insulation and comfort.
Known for it’s moisture wicking properties, the merino wool yarn will help to wick away sweat from the skin to help keep the feet feeling cool and dry. The added bonus is that it will also dry quicker after washing. The natural anti-bacterial qualities from the merino wool helps to keep the feet feeling fresh on those longer distances.
Ideal for hikes, trail runs, long walks and mountain bike rides, the Men's Trek Sock 2 Pack from 100 Mile get padding at the Achilles tendon and extra layers of soft material at the toes and ball of the foot.

Rubbish quality and wont last...

Comfy, but not robust
Had a couple of months now. Heels lack any support as all the wool has come off. Frayed around heal and toe area. Not great. Buy something else.

Comfy but not robust
As others have said not sure about 1000 miles, heel has worn away after 6 months of moderate use just leaving the fine mesh of the sock - so no comfort or protection any more.

Not long wearing. 100 miles max.
Seemed good for first 100 miles. Then the wool seemed to dissappear and I now get hot spots. Not great for avid walkers. OK for odd hike.
I think they made a mistake and added an extra zero.

Great, but not for a long time
These socks are great, so comfortable.
However, they do wear very quickly at the big toe.
That is my experience, 6 months at best.

Bought 4 pairs of these and ALL have worn through on the heels and ball of the foot areas in no time.1000 Mile customer services told me the single layer sock had no warranty & not interested. AVOID
