Bought these for hill climbing for warm and weather protection . Twice I have worn gloves have been soaked. So not as waterproof as made out to be
My hands get very cold on winter walks. I had high hopes of these but at first was disappointed that they weren't that much better than a pair of Thinsulate gloves I bought at a petrol station for £5 ten years ago, or a pair of fleece ones which came from Tesco, or indeed a leather pair from John Lewis.
However having worn them off and on for a fortnight they seem to have improved - perhaps a little more space for air to warm - so they're a 4* now. However a long way from a furnace.
