Comfortable, precise-fitting approach shoes with high-grip outsoles for climbing performance
The Salewa Wildfire GTX is a comfortable tech approach shoe, equipped with a versatile POMOCA Speed MTN sole that gives great grip, traction and sure-footed climbing precision - there's even a climbing zone at the toe which ensures good edging performance.
Fully waterproof and highly breathable thanks to their GORE-TEX® Performance Comfort lining, they also boast OrthoLite® footbeds that give superior cushioning and wick away moisture, helping to keep your feet cooler and drier.
The uppers are made from robust mesh with an EXA Shell technology injected 3D cage for enhanced torsional stability. This works with the 3F system to wrap your foot for flexibility, fit and firm ankle and heel support. Climbing lacing further supports the wrapping fit and allows you to fine-tune the toe for greater precision in technical terrain.

Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Very comfy reliable shoes
Bought a pair of these at the start of the summer, they've been worn pretty much every day and still look/feel great. Slightly wider fit than Solomon. Minor issue with one sole needing gluing.
Great quality shoes, the climbing area is stiff and rigid for some nifty edging if required. The sole is of a very good construction and provides plenty of comfort. The laces are good too
