The cam-assisted blocking function of the Petzl GRIGRI® makes belaying indoors or at the crag easier when a climber is working a route, or when catching a fall. The camming mechanism has been designed to offer exceptional descent control within a compact and lightweight design. This belay device can be used with all single ropes from 8.5mm to 11mm.

- Compact and lightweight belay device designed for both lead and top-rope climbers
- Cam-assisted blocking function for efficiency when a climbing is working a route, or when catching a fall
- Feeding slack and catching falls using standard belay techniques (always keeping a hand on the brake side of the rope)
- Cam-assisted blocking offers leeway for the break-side hand position, regardless of the angle between the climber side and brake side of the ropes
- Rope installation diagram engraved on both the inside and outside of the device
- Ergonomic handle allows you to easily unblock the rope and lower someone
- Easily controlled and progressive rope feed provides smooth and comfortable descent
- Lightweight, compact and balanced design
- Compatible with all 8.5mm to 11mm dynamic single ropes and optimised for those 8.9mm to 10.5mm
