Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Falling apart
These runners seemed great when I first wore them but after a few days the sides began to fray and tear apart. Totally unfit for purpose.
Fiery GTX
Not water proof as they leak through toe area when walking in grass, also outer fabric has started to fray after just 2 months.
Proof Not in the Running
If you are looking for waterproof trail shoes don't buy these, they let in water around the toe. Whilst well made but quite stiff and so I had blisters on the first few runs. Dissappointed!
Like others have said, the outside edges started to rip after only 1 week of heavy walking. Also the main reason I bought them was because they were supposed to be waterproof. THEY ARE NOT
