A sturdy, spacious steel-poled tent with a large sheltered area, for luxurious camping with friends and family.

The Hi Gear Oasis Elite 6 is a very large multi-roomed tent with spacious removeable bedrooms, a massive living and storage area, large panoramic windows and easy access in or out from the large front door and hooded side entrance.

It's easily pitched if you have a helper, and the strong steel poles keep it stable and rigid even in stormy conditions.

Large panoramic windows with roll up curtains and mesh venting, let plenty of light in and give you a great view out, and they can be closed at night or in poor weather.

The versatile multiple bedrooms can be removed to give you extra living or storage space, making the Oasis Elite 6 ideal as a base tent for an outdoor event as well as for your family holiday.

The large front canopy area provides the perfect place to shelter from sun or rain, with ample space for your bikes or camping furniture. (You can extend this sheltered space by adding on the Oasis Elite 6 Canopy, available separately)

Amazing tent owned for 3 years now been through intense rain storms and 40+ miles an hour winds, with no bother at all. Really can’t recommend this tent enough.

Family of 4. Used for 2 hols. Big tent, loads of space. East to erect. Takes 2 people 30 mins. Used in high wind and heavy rain but is very noisy and rattles around a lot! Minor leak to window + floor

Fantastic family tent

We've had this tent a little over a year now. It's easy to set up I can now do this alone in under 30mins. It's spacious the rooms are big enough without feeling squashed together. The front room part is big has a side door to allow air to run through. We have the extended porch part to to give more sitting out space.
Highly recommended for a family tent. We have 2 adults 3 children and often take a 4th child to plenty of room.

Never had a leak like in some reviews.

Impressive Tent

This is my first family tent so I have nothing to compare it against!

Assembly: Took me about 45 mins. I’ve tried to do it by myself but couldn’t get the final arch to stay in place - so I’d say 2 pairs of hands required!

Weatherproof: Some reviews say it leaks. Mine leaked as well. However we pitched up and later that evening found ourselves in an electrical storm with 50 mile an hour winds. I would say that there was about 50ml of water in the tent. For me this was EXTREMELY impressive! We had a further week of rain with no issues at all!

Additional: I bought the extension porch! A great investment but very fiddly to attach properly.
The carpet is also a must have, as is the additional ground sheet. One pole wire snapped which was replaced with minimal grumbling.

I bought some super heavy duty metal tent pegs of Amazon - I recommend these for peace of mind as the storm wiggled the included pegs out of the ground when the soil got soaked!

I would definitely buy this tent again!!

Really happy until it rained

So first things first. This tent is really nice. For first timers like my wife and myself, this tent took a little over an hour to put up and provides enough space inside. I also really like the porch on the front so we still have some cover when sitting outside.

However, when it rained (which to be fair it really poured), as another reviewer posted, the seal around one of the windows leaked. The water gathered along the seam for the curtain and eventually started to drop through the seam which is when we noticed it.

I’m in two minds whether to live with it but in all honesty for a brand new tent, this is really not good.

Think I will be returning it for a replacement in the hope a replacement doesn’t have the same issue as other than the leak, I love the tent.

Oasis Elite 6 Tent

I keep comparing this to the Oasis 6 Premium - the tent I purchased, and the only improvements I can see is are the darker material inner for the bedrooms, big tick there, and the slightly lighter poles. The con are that they have taken away one of the side entrances and the back zip vents , which kept the air flowing freely through the tent without letting in any bugs. Whilst I love the oasis 6 tents I cannot see enough improvements to make me consider purchasing a new version at present.

Great tent for the money, but shoddy handling ruined the experience

Our Oasis 6 Elite arrived this morning. I ordered exactly a week ago, and DHL delivered it on time, but not unusually with parcels delivered by DHL the tent was damaged.
Now I can't say it was purely the couriers fault, a little more care and thoughtfullness in the packaging of this item would have prevented the damage.
The tent manufacturer, in their wisdom package the steel poles using the bedroom partitions as a buffering. - Not a very good idea. especially with parcels being thrown around in and out of vans and off loading bays, the sharp edges of the steel poles punctured the material and even stamped through the carry bag. Not impressed.
Go Outdoors were great though, one phone call and a 57 mile round trip to Cardiff and my replacement tent was waiting for me at the checkout.
I decided to do a little extra shopping while I was there and purchased a Hi Gear Elite Picnic Table.
When I got it home I found the table top to be cracked.
Go Outdoors obviously have a quality problem with their handling and distribution.
I won't be returning the table, but doubt if I'll be making any more substantial purchases from them until their quality problems have been sorted out.
A lovely tent but the experience has somewhat marred the purchasing experience.

Excellent tent

We original got an outwell tent that was useless in the rain. So we exchanged for the oasis elite 6. We have had no issues with this tent very sturdy in strong winds and not leaked in heavy rain. Lot's of space for our family of 6. Living area very spacious. Very easy to put up and I would be happy to recommend this tent.

It leaks

After using the tent for the first time I was really impressed with how easy it was to put it and how sturdy it was. It has a great shape, plenty of room inside, nice bedrooms and handy porch area built in. However, I was really disappointed that on the first night it rained both side windows leaked and there was a leak in one bedroom. The seal around the windows is abviously faulty as it's completely porous. The water didn't get into the tent area until I opened the zip to the curtains in the morning to find a huge pool of water in each side. Really disappointing for a brand new tent. I'll have to return to Go Outdoors which is disappointing as I loved the tent overall.

Oasis elite 6

After reviewing a lot of tents this seemed to have good reviews and good price, but during the first use had heavy leak from the window during light rain, and pooling above the bedroom area, quite disappointed really after reading good reviews

Super tent

Bought in April to replace an Outwell 4. First time out of the bag two weeks ago and was easily set up by myself and wife in 40 minutes.Great tent, lots of space even with all our gear in and very stable when we had one very windy and rainy night.
Bought the carpet for it which was really good.
Flyscreens are excellent, having doors open and keeping little bugs out is a bonus.
Material quality seems very good and had no issues at all. Well worth the price paid.

Great Purchase

Bought a couple of weeks ago from Wakefield store as we were looking to upgrade from a Rock 5. Great tent easy to erect after watching Go Outdoors video on-line. There are only 2 of us so very spacious and light. Would have preferred a zip divider between bedrooms to create one big one. They come in two separate 3 person pods but that is our personal choice. Loads of ventilation and twin entry for electric. Could have done with all the curtains being zip closed but I suppose this was done to keep price down. Had a slight problem with one of the poles on our first weekend away but this was remedied without question at our local store on our return. In summary a great tent that is value for money and we are pleased with our purchase.

Oasis 6

We brought the oasis six about eight months ago and it's by far the best tent I have ever been in or owned, go outdoors say in the video it will take one person forty minutes to put up and so far every time I put it up on my own it's taken me about forty to forty five minutes it's so easy, the living and bedroom area are fantastic we couldn't be happier, we have the oasis 6 premium however I have looked at the elite and apart from it being a little lighter the standard of the elite is just as good as the premium

Awesome tent

We bought this tent and love it. Better than we expected. Plenty of room, we bought the package with extra porch. Very handy for our children to eat under when it was drizzling for meals. Sturdy well designed tent, value for money.
