Men's Clothing size guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Collar: Measure around the base of the neck where the collar sits.

Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.

Waist: Measure the natural waistline.

Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.

Jacket Length: Measure from the centre back of your neck to your hemline. The length measurement will vary depending on the style.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Fairly warm

Bought it as a synthetic substitute for my down jacket that I wear all the time. Not as warm, but ok. Not too keen on the cuffs, but otherwise a well thought out jacket, and a good price.

All rounder

If your thinking about buying this jacket then do so, its warm, lightweight and cosy, i wear it for walking in all kinds of weather, i tried a few different ones in the shop but this is a great fit, the elasticated sleeves keep the draft out, the high collar means theres no need for a scarf, if your looking for a good all rounder this is the one i would definitely recommend this jacket and its a good price to.

Insulated jacket

Wanted a jacket to replace my wolfskin soft shell that I've had for a number of years. Checked the jackets available at go outdoors and the performance of a number of them in my price range. I also looked at the reviews of them and this one stood out. Having bought it and used it for a while I agree that it's very warm and light and water repellent. Can't recommend it highly enough.

OEX Mens Jacket

Great value jacket which is very warm. A size large fits me well in the arms and body (6'3"). There a drawstring at the hood and bottom of the jacket to keep the warmth in. Very lightweight and easy to stuff into a small bag. Haven't tested it in heavy rain but certainly water resistant to a light shower or snow. Pockets are a good size for gloves/hat/hands. Zips, although small, feel to be of high quality.

OEX Men's Nevis Insulated Jacket

I was looking for a down jacket when i stumbled across this jacket and decided to take the risk as it was at such a good price...I took it for a few days trial in the snow in Latvia and it didn't disappoint, I never once felt cold and it looks cool too!!!

OEX Mens Nevis Insulated Jacket

This was a brilliant purchase and one I truly recommend.
I purchased this jacket as a top layer to wear over a shirt and t-shirt.
It is very very warm and does the job perfectly.
I am 6ft tall and approx 45" chest. I normally struggle with jackets being to short in the arm but no problem here at all.
If i wear it just over a T-shirt which I have been doing it is just a fraction big. However as I purchased it to layer underneath it is perfect.
Absolutely love this jacket.

Good enough for Everest base camp!

Just finished trekking up the Everest base camp and this was all I needed, even on the chilliest nights.
Wear with a good base layer, and mid layer at night ( I had icebreakers) and this jacket was more than warm enough at 5,500m, very surprised for such a lightweight jacket! I didn’t need the fleece I bought to wear under it.

Light and comfortable

Very smart looking, deceptively light and keeps you warm.
Hardly know your wearing it, very breathable on long walks and very good value for money.

Jacket

It was a bargain in price and I have to say quality, incredibly warm and lightweight and a great fit and in my humble opinion a great look also.

Comfy and warm

Great jacket especially for the price. DWR coating seems to do it's job when I have been caught in the rain. Only small issue is the waistline draw cords slip slowly once tightened so have to keep tightening them regularly.

Good jacket

Bought this a month ago and it is a nice jacket, good cut and kept me warm. The coating stops the rain soaking in the fabric which is good in a passing shower. Good value for money.

Bought the mans and the ladies

We needed new jackets for our trip to New York..so got the mans and the ladies and they are absolutely fantastic...we tried lots of different coats, and found these to be the most light weight and comfortable...we thought they would be just ok...but in the snow and freezing conditions we were really warm.. too warm in fact! We highly recommend them.
