Women's Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.

Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Worst boots ever

Horrific fit, like wearing the boxes, toe box is HUGE, I have 2 pairs of Meindl both a 7 and the fit bore no resemblance, so wish I hadn't worn them outdoors, expensive mistake and feet in agony

dangerous

It isn't possible to give no stars but the prominent top hook made them easy to catch one boot on the other on the ventilation holes on the inside of the boot with potentially very serious consequences of falling and in exposed places this could be quite dangerous. I have just returned these boots and with great help from the excellent and knowledgeable staff at the Exeter store am awaiting the delivery of another pair of boots, needless to say not Meindl. I certainly cannot recommend these boots and in my opinion they are a hazard

Poor product quality do not buy!

I purchased these boots to do some alpine walks in Nepal. After using them for 4 weeks the sole started to delaminate from the boot, laces frayed and insoles compressed to nothing for £170 I expected much more in terms of longevity.
After a number of very unhelpful email conversations with Brammer UK I’ve learned never to buy Meindl again. Brammer came up with excuses like “these boots are not designed to walk in Nepal” I mean please don’t be ridiculous. They really do not want to know and will not honour the product warranty. Most outdoor companies I have dealt with over the years are great but Brammer UK and Meindl are the worst (Meindl not even responding to emails). Please do not waste your money on these boots they are very poorly made and expensive buy another brand.

Happy Feet

My wife bought these after struggling to get on with various boots.
Sharing has just covered 12 miles over varied terrain and never grumbled once.... So far happy dry feet

Most comfortable walking boots!

I purchased these before completing the Lyke Wake Walk last year as I needed a much lighter boot due to the time of year we were walking (August) and the distance we were walking 40miles. I've always had blisters with my other boots but these are so comfortable and light that blisters are no more. Due to the distances we walk my legs don't tire as easily as when walking with heavier leather boots. I would highly recommend. I bought one shoe size up giving my feet room to expand so my toes didn't hit the front of the shoe and they are the perfect fit.

Lightweight and comfortable

I purchased these boots as I wanted something as light as a shoe but with ankle protection for the summer. They tick all the boxes with regard to comfort and I have worn them all day long without issue. The only reason I have marked them down to a 4 is that when going down hill there is not quite enough structure and stability to keep your foot in position and even though I had plenty of room, my toes ended up hitting the front of the boot. Apart from that they are lovely!
