Active / Performance
Bought this coat as a reasonably cheap, light and breathable waterproof. At first was very happy as it lived up to what I expect of it, and comfortably fit multiple layers underneath. However on a couple of occasions whilst up Kinder Scout when the rain had been rather heavy, I found that the sleeve had been getting wet. I suspect that the lining has something to do with this as it stuck out further than the cuff, and once this issue is sorted it would be a great coat for the price.

Jacket so far seems to do the job with rain more of a summer jacket as its very very thin, however the 1 fault i do have with the jacket is the inner sleeve no matter how much you try to keep it tucked inside the sleeve of the jacket it allways works its way out past the main sleeve and unfortunatly its not waterproof it soaks up any water that touches it and spreads it up the inside of the sleeve so unless you keep your hands in your pockets i wouldn't recommend it for heavy rain until they fix this issue

Spoiled by design flaws
Have had my jacked since spring and have been out in heavy rain a few times. I would have stayed dry an comfortable except for one significant design / manufacturing fault. The sleeve lining absorbs water. The sleeve lining will always manage to hang below the outer sleeve material. so getting nice and wt and absorbing as much water as it can.tjhis then wicks back up inside the sleeve soaking whatever gmid layer garment sleeve it touches. All for the sake of a few pence spent on either a non wicking lining of sewing in the lining so that it can not work its way down and out. Otherwise a solid sound fit for purpose garment. As we qre now entering the Autumn and winter weather patterns time and weather will test this jacket and I do not expect to be disappointed. or else!

We need rain to test it
I bought this jacket for my son yesterday. Trying to combine mother's importance for quality, functionality and price with son's importance of looks, style and colour made our trip to GoOutdoors a real challenge.
With this jacket we ticked all the boxes.
The missing 5th star is because it's not been exposed to and tested in the rain yet.

Very pleased with this jacket. It's light, comfortable and airy. I think it represents excellent value in a potentially very expensive market.
