Feels pretty cheap, but it is cheap. Works well, can have 1, 3 or 6 LEDs on. Light is good. Can't imagine it will last very long but for £2 I have nothing to complain about.
Bought one. No Problems. about to get another 3. If you look in the battery compartment you will see polarity markings. one side negative the other side positive.
bought another one, very handy and works well
excellent purchase
Spent a night in the black mountains, back packing, with small tent, the light provided enough illumination for a small group of us to cook and enjoy the evening. Great value.
JUST LIKE TO SAY TO ANYONE WHO CANT GET LIGHT TO WORK... Make sure you put the batteries in properly .. Took me 5 minutes to work it out... Try all possibilities .. One side go in different to the other side.. After that it's all good for £2.00..
I bought 2 of these to go camping great for what I needed also now use around the home didn't work first time tried batteries in another n it worked great even hav friends who want to buy one
Ok £2... What were you expecting? Well for a start I didn't anything on battery polarity. Took me 1 second to realise how the batteries go in ;)
Bam! Light! Nice gentle light. When off though the LEDs were very faintly lit. Not good for the batteries. But still...£2! Thx go outdoors, I like it.
Bough one for music festival put batteries in at festival.
Result? IT DIDNT WORK!!!
Took it back and swapped it. Got home put in batteries. Result IT DIDNT WORK!!!
Took out batteries opened new pack of batteries and inserted.
Result? HAVE A GUESS?
My tip? Sack the Go Outdoors buyer who gave this the go ahead!
Seriously? The worst thing I've ever bought. 3 bought new, 3 failed to work. Do not buy these. Full refund and petrol money will be asked for, I'm actually camping now...and it's dark! Great.
Another one that dosnt work ! Came on here to see if I was doing something wrong, but no its just a garbage product - no wonder they are reduced to £2. Trouble is I have a 20 mile drive to nearest store. Thanks for nothing ..
I rarely review but felt I had to. I bought three of these from the Southampton store, none of them worked... Ridiculous. Look great, but absolute garbage.
We bought 3 of these tourches none of them worked. Took them back to the store, tried another 3 tourches, these did not work either. Epic fail!!
First of all, look for the + and - marks and you'll be fine. I got it wrong at first too, as there are springs at the bottom of the battery compartment, which usually mean the negative end of the battery, but not in this case, one side has the batteries the other way round.
I bought two for our first family camping trip, and they worked well.
One click turns on the torch end, second click turns off the torch and turns on the 3 LED side, then the third click lights up both LED sides.
Pretty bright for a £2 torch, and the clip at the end is good. I clipped it to the top of the tent bedroom for the kids and left one side on all night for them, I used cheap £1 batteries and they lasted two nights.
