Measuring tips
Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.
Feet: Measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet. Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.
Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Great value footbeds
These were recommenced to me by a friend who previously bought a pair from Go Outdoors, I'm so happy I took his advice, they provide great support and comfort they have turned my so so comfortable boots into the most comfortable footwear I own! I swap them out into my daily shoes too, the support is great.
These, the Stability+ version of the Hi-Tec insoles (the green ones), are superb. They certainly provide great stability, being robust and very firm in composite. Their contours embrace all parts of the foot that they ought to. They feel cool and comfortable.
My ideal boot size is 11.5. Thus I wear either a generous 11 or a stingy 12 (EU 45 or 46). I have to say, I was genuinely delighted with the fit of the 11 to 12 sized insoles. They line the boot to perfection; no gaps and no rising at the edges.
One thing I would advise: these insoles are quite smooth, so if you had fine-finish socks on, you might experience some heel slide, which would result in rubbing. So make sure you wear coarse socks and you'll be right as rain.
These beauties have given my cheap-as-chips Karrimors a second wind. I can't wait to get them into my Chrissie present - some Scarpa Kailash Pro GTXs.
