Men's Regatta Clothing Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Chest: Measure the chest at the fullest part, placing the tape close up under the arms.

Waist: Measure the natural waistline.

Inside Leg: Measure from the crotch to where your trouser is normally worn on the shoe.

Trousers

Nice water proof trousers that fit well around the legs. However, for a 32" I found these more like a 35" - they keep falling down, as if there is little elastic in the waist.

regatta point 214

Completely satisfied with these as light pants in the garden in the wet and walking in tall wet undergrowth. Far better freedom of movement than my expensive leg kit and they cope with the run-off from my cast-iron Ventile jacket. Don't expect them to last as I wear them all the time 'cos they're so comfy - they are bound to get ripped or shredded. Not had a winter day yet but they fend off cold damp easterlies even standing for hours trackside - if anything they are a tad too cosy on mild days!

Very good buy!

Very comfortable and 100% waterproof! They are also very generously sized, great value!

not waterproof trousers

Very dissapointed these let in water around the fly area in anything more than a light shower.

Damp spot

I found these trousers to be great in light rain, but disappointed to feel a damp patch inside around the fly area. The wet outer material by the fly carries water through to the inside leaving you with damp underwear. Nice and warm but probably better described as showerproof not fully waterproof.

They actually are waterproof!

Thought I'd try these as they're far cheaper than other stretchy waterproof garments like the Rab Neo-shell. I was worried they'd be more soft-shell 'water resistent' than actually water proof. However, after scrambling up a brook in the peak district, I can say they're definitely fully waterproof for at least 2 hours. At times I was actually standing in sections of waterfall with it blasting me in the chest and running down the trousers. Didn't let in a drop!
Very comfortable too - I bought them because they're stretchy and a 'single layer' alternative to warm trousers combined with something like the Berghaus Deluge.
The real test will be a full day out in torrential rain - I suspect they may allow water through in those conditions, however the inner fleecy layer will probably act like Paramo material and dry rapidly. If I manage to test this I'll leave another review.
Regatta are definitely on to a winner here.

Great...

Just got a pair of these. Very comfy. Too warm to wear around the house. Highly recommended.

Just the job

I wanted a pair of normal trousers I could wear dog walking which could double up as waterproof in case it rained. These are amazingly warm, a good fit and most importantly shower proof - cant claim to have tested them in heavy rain.

Dayhike trousers

I got this for playing golf. Used them 1st time today and they were really warm. Should be good for playing during the winter months.
