An extremely durable trekking pant for complete comfort on the hills.

"The Haglöfs Rugged II Mountain Pant is a versatile, hardwearing outdoor trouser for keeping you comfortable and well protected on any adventure.

Designed using a polyamide/elastane mix to get a tough fabric with a forgiving stretch, the trousers offer great forgiveness and great freedom of movement. The main seams are triple stitched and the others doubled, giving the Rugged II that strength and durability that an outdoor trouser needs. The fabric is finished with a DWR water repellent coating to help ensure any moisture it meets quickly rolls off.

The rear back and over the knees is reinforced with a 4-way stretch fabric with a waterproof membrane, allowing better protection for areas that may come into contact with wet and muddy ground. The thigh area features zippered ventilation to allow you to easily vent on the move when needed, and the reinforced lower leg area benefits from gaiter hooks and buckle adjustable leg hems.

When it comes to getting a good fit, an internal elasticated webbing at the waist - with hook and loop adjustable straps - offers a comfortable fit and allows you to quickly and easily adjust the waist for the best fit. Belt loops are also there if needed and feature two hook loops at the front to allow easy attachment of any essentials you need close by.

When it comes to pockets, the Rugged II definitely delivers! The trousers feature two hand pockets, two thigh pockets with stretch bellow, one zippered back pocket, a phone pocket in the right thigh pocket, and finally one hidden security pocket in the waistband.

Won't keep you dry but very comfortable in good conditions

I bought these last week for a hiking weekend in snowdonia . My old trousers were very worn so decided to get something with some longevity in them. I bought these thinking they would keep my dry in bad weather and considering all the snow we have had lately I expected that will be required. These are great comfy trousers until it rains. On the last leg of our walk it got very wet and the trousers didn't repel barely anything. In fact so little that my crotch was soaking wet. Luckily I was only an hour from home but they're not repelling much water. Maybe I've misunderstood the description but don't but these if you think they will keep you completely dry. They won't .Outside of that they're very comfy to walk in and feel like they will last .

Great trousers

I bought these trousers for walking, they are very comfy and hard wearing. Extremely warm and shower proof. I particularly like the extra knee material for when you are kneeling. There are ankle ties as well which work very well when you are wearing different types of boots.

I would highly recommend these trousers to anyone that has a love of walking or works outside.

Incredibly good

OK, 135 quid is a lot of money. However, these trousers are worth it. Very well designed and hard-wearing. Ultra comfortable. The best outdoor trousers I've ever owned.

Great hardwearing trousers. Stretch fabric in knee and crotch area. Wash with Nikwax Techwash or similar product (do not wash with regular washing powders as these will damage waterproof qualities) then wash with Nikwax TX Direct or similar product so as to re-waterproof Side vent zips are ok but could be improved by adding in a Midge/Mosquito etc mesh.
Had these for 6 years now (got 5 pairs) and they're used for work week after week. Still not worn out so bombproof in my opinion

Suitably titled

Suitably titled, because these trousers are as rugged as the mountains they're created to climb.
I've had mine 2years or more and unless it's very warm, they are my goto trouser for the hills and woods..... There's no point me highlighting the details.... They're all listed and I find them great.
Never had wet knees or a seat, they dry well for a robust trouser.
I know plenty of people who also swear by them.

Haglof Mountain Pant

My Haglof Mountain trousers are 7yrs old, I know because I bought them same year as we got our dog and wear them for all my hill walking. They don't have any faults whatsoever and so hard wearing. Well worth the money, looking for another pair now just for a colour change.

Haglofs Rugged 11

Climbing, Scrambling, fell walking, even walking the dog on cold wet days, these Haglofs are the business, not the cheapest but still a bargain, great comfortable fit, loads of movement for my Rugby player physique, these should last years.

Rugged by name....

Bought these in May for a trip to Iceland. Incredibly hardwearing, very comfortable and great to wear. Never felt cold or hot in them, hiked about 6 miles in them and also stopping to take photographs for fairly lengthy periods, they performed brilliantly. I thought it was ridiculous to pay £135 for a pair of trousers, but so worth it. Probably far too heavy for summer use, but in cooler weather or harsh weather they're superb. Recommended
