Supportive, slim-profiled boots that make the transition between trekking and mountain walking.
The Scarpa Rebel Lite GTX Women's Boots, designed with help from Ueli Steck, are hybrid boots that not only walk well but also climb, scramble, via Ferrata and take occasional crampon use for a summit dash or glacier crossing.
Three distinct features define the Scarpa Rebel boot range:
A NAG last provides all day comfort, focusing the foot in a toe central position making the boots climb really well.
The sock fit tongue gusset made of Schoeller fabric sucks the volume out of the boot like the elastic gusset of a rock slipper, reducing bulk and weight.
Its triple injection PU layers in the sole wedge provide the state of the art in weight reduction and underfoot comfort.
The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear lining is durably waterproof and breathable, and the Vibram Mulaz sole unit has deep treads and cleating in all areas for sure-footed grip.
Its TPU crampon ledge allows the use of a new matic style binding - for example the Grivel Air Tech new matic, or use a classic C1 rated crampon like the Grivel G10 NC. The lightweight Vibram® Re-Active midsole allows perfect compatibility with semi automatic crampons. The heel of the midsole has been developed using special high-density Polyurethane, to provide structural support whilst using crampons but ensures maximum cushioning at the point your foot strikes the ground.
The Flex Point System allows your ankles complete freedom of movement, even in the stiffest of boots, whilst maintaining support and confidence on all terrains.
A fabric developed especially for SCARPA®. Three high-tenacity textile fibres (KEVLAR®, CORDURA® and Nylon) woven together to form a hard-wearing, waterproof, breathable fabric.

Scarpa footwear is made in European sizes, which allows for a more accurate fit as the 'gaps' between sizes are smaller. Each European size is roughly 3/4 of a UK size.
As with all walking footwear, we advise moving up a size from your normal shoe size to allow room for thicker socks and for your feet to expand during a long walk. If you fall between sizes you should always go for the larger size.
We have trained footwear advisors in all of our stores - if you have trouble finding the right boot for you please pay us a visit and we'll be happy to help. You can also find out more about choosing, fitting and caring for walking footwear in our online Footwear Buying Guide.
