A sharp-looking and versatile shoe that combines performance and comfort.

The Climb X Dyno VCR climbing shoe iis made with quality materials and has a slightly asymmetric toe and slingshot heel rand for better power transfer and a secure fit.

The sole is one piece with a deep rand attached, and made from XF Rubber for durable grip. A 3D compressed polyester midsole provides arch support while anti-shock EVA foam cushioning helps protect your feet against short falls - particularly useful for bouldering and indoor climbing.

Dual pull tabs and broad hook and loop straps make it easy to get them on and positioned correctly, and the quality leather upper holds your foot comfortably in position allowing precise foot placement. The edges are straighter and sharper thanks to the ClimbX Edge Tech System, so you can get maximum balance on narrow ledges.

A great all-round shoe that has added comfort without sacrificing performance.

Decent value for money

These shoes lasted around 8 months of heavy use before my toes started to show and I lost the inside edge. Adapted my climbing as I can't afford to replace yet, I'm generally confident in them still.

A good resonably priced shoe

I am relatively new to climbing and these are the first shoes i have bought for myself. I wasn't sure about the fit at first as they felt very tight in the shop but after about 3 uses they stretched to fit perfectly and now feel better than the hire shoes i have used before. They feel good in use and have plenty of grip. I haven't had them too tong so cant comment on their durability but they seem fairly well made.

Good beginner shoe

As a novice I am finding this a good shoe. A lot better than the shoes at the climbing centre. I find the straps v great easy to readjust.

Ok for beginners

This shoe is ok if you are going to go climbing every now and again but if you want to improve as soon as you reach 6a/v3 this shoe will start to let you down. The rubber is thick enough so you can't feel the hold but at the same time not stiff at all. As soon as i changed to a good shoe (scarpa vapou v) i went up 2 grades. Save your money and get something around £80 that will last you much longer

Ideal for beginners

As a climber who's just starting out this is a great all terrain shoe. Perfect for bouldering! Well made shoe that's holding up well to the punishment of an inexperienced climber.

Too Small

Ordered a size 10 online after reading reviews saying buy your everyday size. I had to take them back to store as they didn't fit, too small.

When I did try a larger size they were still uncomfortable. So ended up going with a different brand, paid more but my shoes now fit like cinderellas glass shoes!

Would not recommend these, they are cheap in price and cheap in quality. I'd definitely recommend trying climbing shoes in store rather than buying online for piece of mind.

Neat shoe for the price

Only used the shoes for a couple indoor gym climbing session but they seem great so far. Ordered from New Zealand so was worried about what size to get as its so important with climbing shoes to get the right size. I ordered the exact street shoe size I am and they fitted perfectly if maybe a little snug but they will stretch out a little. Very happy with them especially for the cheap price.

Newbie Shoe Review

I'm a complete novice when it comes to climbing (except for in trees when I was 7!!) so first went to a climbing centre in Adidas trainers. The difference from normal running trainers to these shoes is immence!
They have given me much more confidence, security and flexibility while climbing.
I've only had them on for 1 session (2 hours or so) and they do hurt me feet slightly, but they need to be a tight fit and I recon they will break in and stretch a smidgen and be a very good beginners shoes. Very happy with my purchase.

Good all-rounder (used indoor)

I've had these shoes for over a year and they have been great. I bought a half size smaller than usual, which were quite uncomfortable. However, they wore in quickly, which means they have some 'give' in them. After that, they were extremely comfortable to climb in and were pretty reliable on all sorts of routes indoors. I've climbed up to V7s in them, so I say they are a good starter shoe at the very least!
I think the only downside is that once the edges wear down they're not as easy to stick to teeny-tiny holds.

Good sizing

These are not top end shoes, but they fit my feet perfectly. There is nothing wrong with them in the slightest; they are comfortable, slightly down-turned and cheap.
These are my second pair of shoes and my second pair of Climb x's. They just happened to fit my feet the best out out of what was available at Go Outdoors, Newcastle.
The fit seems to be narrow, judging by the fact that I have narrow feet and they fit my feet very well.
If you can't find information on these shoes on the internet very easily, search for 'Climb x drifter' (same shoes, different name)

Not bad, comfy. But not very grippy and stain my feet red. I prefer my Red Chilli or La Sportiva shoes. I bought these as an all day pair that won't hurt my feet, and they are fine for that, but if I want to climb anything 6b or above I need to put on one of the other pairs.
