Tough and comfortable leather boots that are great for days out on the hills.
Hi Gear's Snowdon Walking Boots are made from tough full grain leather, designed to help keep your feet dry and comfortable on all-day treks.
Their moisture wicking lining draws perspiration vapours away from the foot, avoiding any build up of friction or clamminess.
They boast a cushioned EVA footbed and CMEVA midsole, keeping them lightweight but giving you the same level of comfort as a sports trainer.
Their tough, durable rubber outsole not only gives great grip on varied uneven terrain, but is designed to shed excess mud while you walk - again helping to keep them light, comfortable and functional.
These boots have been amazing for our son. He has problems walking and needs really sturdy ankle boots and so far these have been the best. They have no seams so don't rub his feet. They keep his foot stable. I am now struggling to get anymore as he is a size 2 and they are collect only. Our local branch has run out so I have written to you to see if you can help us track some more without physically having to drive to every store (an impossibility as our son has complex epilepsy). Anyway these are amazing boots.

Really great set of boots! Great support across the ankle and fits perfectly. Team in the Clydebank shop were great at helping me find the right boots!

Pleased with boots
Bought for my son age 9 ( unfortunately did not get the 20%off) seem to be great so far, no blisters or sore feet/heals when walking in which is always a bonus! Bought a size up do can wear good thick walking socks, look great and think they were good value for kids leather walking boots

A lovely pair of boots at a decent price. My daughter had to go one size bigger so she could wear decent walking socks, Great quality and look the part too.

I bought these 3 months ago for long walks, they are amazing in all weathers. I’ve worn them in deep mud, terrestrial rain & I’m currently wearing them in the snow & they are keeping still my feet warm & dry . They didn’t need breaking in, and have been comfortable since I bought them, but you do need to get a size bigger than your actual shoe size. I would definitely get another pair.

Bought these for my 7½yo son when he was 6½. He wears them every weekend for general use too, but he wore them up and down mount snowdon (or Yr Wyddfa as he says) three times on our summer holiday. Best footwear I ever bought him. One lace hook came off , but this cost nothing to replace at a local shoes and keys place.

Why are my socks so wet?
Waxed these up upon purchase but still seem to have damp feet at the end of the day.
Rubbish! Pay the extra and get some alt bergs

So far so good
I bought these boots to replace an old pair (different make). I've only walked under 3 miles in them so far and they have been comfortable although I'm hoping they will stretch a bit as I've some long walks in the peak difference looming and my toes are near the end of the boot.

Fab boots for the price
Bought a pair of these for my daughter (aged 14 at the time) and me (aged a lot more). Walked for hours and days in them - still as good as new although I did kill 1 pair of laces.
Great if you are lucky enough to still have child sized feet!

Hi Gear Snowdon junior boots
Bought a pair of these in October2013 for my 7 year old son. nicely put together and very supportive on the rougher trails. Only negative was that after 3 months one of the lace hooks pulled out. GO replaced without question and given my son's high opinion of these boots I have replaced them with an identical pair. All in all a good strong comfortable pair of boots.
