Not worth the money!

These shoes have atrocious rubber, their very slippy. The rubber oxidizes really quickly meaning that its impossible to climb sport routes or boulder at higher grades were you need the rubber to grip.

Perfect for the the money

These are really amazing Value for money. I was looking for a new pair of shoes for my winter indoors climbing and they are great. The full length laces allow you to get a really great fit.

Good value climbing shoe

The best climbing shoe for the price on the market. Great grip. Always felt confident when climbing in these. Very comfortable and fit my feet perfect. They do however wear out quickly.

Seems goid

As a beginner I did not want to spend a lot of money. The shoe seems fine and comfortable with a good price. Nothing to compare it to but it suits my needs for the moment.

A good beginner shoe

Not the best fitting shoe you'll get but a great buy for the price - like others on here I'm just starting out and didn't want to spend a huge amount of money. I've worn them once so far and they seem fine.

Climb X Crux Climbing Shoe

Comfortable climbing shoe but lost a star as top of shoe tends to dig into Achilles heel area when climbing. Apart from that great value climbing shoes for the price.

Good Beginner Shoe - Big toes beware!

These are great are beginners shoe however are not IMHO suitable for those whose big toe is the longest toe.
The rounded front makes it very uncomfortable so Ive had to switch to an alternative shoe which has more big toe clearance.
Other than that the shoe performed well for me and in hindsight I should have gone for a shoe more suitable for my foot shape.

Climbing shoes

I bought these for my son as they were the same ones used by his climbing club and a good price compared to other stores. They fit well but we ordered a size larger than normal because they come up small. The quality is great and they are comfortable climbing shoes, he loves them!

Good beginners shoe

As a beginner I wanted a shoe that was cheap enough that if I lost interest I wouldn't have spent a fortune but also functional enough to be worth having. I have quite narrow feet so a "lace to the toe' system was good. Ive had the shoes for around 2 months now and have used them roughly once a week for indoor and outdoor climbing. They are still in good condition however they have stretched considerably. The bonus of laces though is I can tighten them if necessary. As I improve and find myself trying to get a toe into smaller holds I find the symmetrical toe and larger toe box not quite as accurate as I would like, as they lack the asymmetry of a more aggressive shoe (as to be expected with a beginner shoe). That being said, for what I paid and the confidence they gave me starting out well worth considering.

Beginner shoe

Like most others, I bought these when I first started as I didn't want to invest too much in case I didn't stay with it. I bought my normal size and well very comfortable I did have to wear thin ankle socks to stop my feet slipping. Even so, they did give me a lot of grip and the only time I had any problems was on tiny holds and attempting to use the toe in pockets. I'm definitely sticking with the sport and keeping with the same brand as I do like the shoe. I'll probably keep them for outdoor bouldering.

climb X crux

Returning to climbing after some time off my old shoes had always been too narrow and both big toe nails would hurt. Decided to try these just in case I didn't want to resume climbing. They are adequate climbing shoes for both indoors and outdoors but I can see that if I wanted to push my grades back to what they once were these would not do the job on small holds. My toes though are lovely and comfy in them.

Good beginner shoe

I have had a pair of climb x crux shoes for a year now, i bought them when i started climbing as they were cheap. They were good for when i started off climbing but now i have progressed they are not up to the standard i would like. The toe of the shoe is very rounded and prone to slipping off smaller holds. the shoes have stretched leaving them now to loose and the sole gives me no grip whilst smearing. I would say great shoe for starting off but would not buy again now i have improved.
