HI-GEAR Folding Shovel

I tried to use this fold up shovel. On my 3rd day at using it it started to flex. Then it completely snapped.

Great product to keep in your boot for emergencies which I could have done with for last year when I got stuck in the snow. Great compact size to keep in my boot.

Well what can I say about this shovel not a lot really apart from it's a waste of time it bends way to easy even in soft ground I think it was more designd for kids to play in the sand very disserpointed any one recomend a decent one

Much like Theresa May's motto, only the shovel lives up to this motto.. Won't bend or buckle, may even be able to run a government but hey who knows? All in all a great bit of kit

If you've ever been up creek without a paddle or in this case, outdoors without a shovel, you'll be no stranger to the mortifying feeling of having to do number 2 without any method of discreet emptying and faecal matter disposal.
This nifty device allows even the most catastrophic of dumps to be disposed of with the utmost discretion.
The shovel also has a variety of other uses including digging holes, catapult, camera tripod (tape not included), spare paddle or tent peg.
Highly recommended, only downside is it weighs a tonne! Happy camping!

I brought this not expecting much, but I'm very impressed. It does bend or break and can take a good bit of force. Not a negative but some advice, the shovel will bend it you don't read the instructions and forget to tighten the handle after you unfold it.

Junk really. Digging a 3 small holes in a grass field it just bent. I was able to bend it back with my hands but it just bent again. Its not fit for purpose. Lesson learned.
