Same here. This jacket isn´t waterproof, I can´t understand all the positive testresults..With the first rain on my hiking tour the arms of the jacket were through after half an hour, the rest followed quickly. I wrote RAB when I got back from the vacation but did not get a response. I´m still using the jacket, as I don´t want to spend even more money at the moment. It hasn´t improved, even though I tried to impregnate it several times. Wouldn´t buy again. The jacket fits n all, but that s no use if I get wet n cold, especially on a more than one day hiking trip...

I bought this jacket expecting it to be waterproof. I was disappointed and utterly dismayed when I realised it was not. The rain soaked through. I would not recommend this jacket as it's not value for money and it does not do what it's intended for which is be waterproof.

Firstly I was amazed with the speed of the delivery. I orderd the jacket online and had it shipped internationally, and it arrived 3 days later!
I had 3 pairs of waterproof fabric expert eyes form my male friends examining the insides and outsides of the jacket, and got a very approving nod from all of them. Since I bought it, I took the jacket for 3 very long mountain hikes and one backcountry skiing trip, through rain, snow and heavy wind, and it has not let me down at all.
Visually the jacket (color Merlin) looks better than on the picture - it's darker and richer blue. I like the fit (the European 38/40 fits UK 12 perfectly) and length. The sleeves are longer, but since I will be doing some ice climbing, I think I will come to appreciate that.
All and all: very good price, super quick delivery and a great garment!

Very disappointing, not waterproof
I have just returned the 2nd of these jackets I've owned in 2 years, both developed the same fault within a few months. Such a shame, as the style is great. They started off well, but then started leaking badly around the back of the neck, & also the cuffs. I am waiting for a refund this time round, I would not buy a Rab waterproof again. The jacket I owned before these lasted over 15 years!

I also bought one of these and loved it when it first arrived! However, before long I was getting soaked despite following the care instructions etc! RAB exchanged it, but after even less time the jacket was letting water in again and the straps on the sleeves peeled apart so they were flapping around my wrists. I think I will do as another customer has done and send it back for a refund and go for another brand! So frustrating as I am out walking in all weathers and need something dependable! :(

Bad day for Rab...
I bought this jacket about six months ago (after much research) and quickly found that when faced with a deluge it didn't stand up to the task. I was very quickly soaked through and not from watering entering via the hood/ sleeves etc. For the price, and make i was pretty shocked- Rab gear has always been fantastic. I returned it to Rab via Go Outdoors and they (presumably) agreed it wasn't up to standard as they swapped it for a new one straight away. Pleased with the exchange + hoped the poor waterproofing was just an anomaly. However, roughly one month in with the replacement and i find myself soaked through after only a few hours on the mountain; water seems to be seeping in and just saturating the jacket. Will return and go for a different brand. On the other hand, the fit, sleeves, hood etc are awesome and it breathes well. Fool me twice...

Jacket good fit and really like the style. Have been using for 3 months. I try not to walk in the heavy rain but sometimes with a dog needs must - after a 5 mile walk today my neck and shoulder areas were wet and the jacket was wet on the inside - I walked the whole distance with the hood up and elastic tightened. Disappointing for the price tag.

I have had this jacket for a couple of years and it is outstanding, fully waterproof, lightweight and breathable. It is also fitted and flattering on a female figure. I have been hugely impressed with every Rab product I have bought and cannot recommend them highly enough!

I wore this in the worst rain the Lake District could throw at me and it kept me completely dry. It is light, comfortable, with good size pockets and a hood that can be easily adjusted for a fab fit. Even better, although I always get quite hot when walking the hills, there was no condensation build up so I didn't feel as if I was in a sauna. I love the longish sleeves as they can be pulled right over the hands so even gloves can stay dry.

Rab Latok Women's Waterproof Jacket
Bought this jacket a couple of months ago and am disappointed with it. Wore it the other day in moderate/heavy rain. The rain came right in around the neck as it gapes no matter how tightly the hood is pulled. My hair and chest were both soaked. I pulled the hood as tightly as I could but this meant I couldn't see as it was over my eyes even when I adjusted it at the back. The jacket was also soaking around the cuffs as it's impossible to pull the velcro tight enough to prevent water getting in. The inside of the zip was also saturated as was the inside of the hem. I paid £207 in the sale and I expected more for that amount of money. Really disappointed.
