GORE-TEX® TechnologiesThe Scarpa Cyrus Mid GTX is a higher-cut version of their popular Cyrus GTX walking shoe.

They're lightweight, comfortable and supportive thanks to the 'Direct Injection Construction', and their 2mm water-resistant Nubuck upper with GORE-TEX lining keeps you dry and protected even in the wettest climates.

A higher ankle offers more support and weather protection, while the PU midsole has a low weight and gives you outstanding underfoot comfort.

The Scarpa 'Energy L' outsole gives plenty of traction for a wide range of underfoot conditions.

Men's Scarpa Footwear Size Guide

Measuring tips

Take your actual body measurements as they are more accurate than measuring over your clothes or shoes.

Feet: Use a ruler or tape measure to measure your foot (from the heel to the tip of your longest toe) Be sure to measure both feet.

Many people have feet of different sizes. Fit to the larger of the two.

Remember, feet can expand over a quarter size during a full day's walk so ensure you get the right fit.

Good but not Waterproof (any more)

Very comfortable boot but after 2 summers they are no longer waterproof. Taken good care of but the Gore-tex has given up. I'd love another pair but very expensive if only good for a couple of years. I'll still wear them but only on dry walks.

Cyrus Mid GTX

Very comfortable, but the quality of the soles and some of the stitching isn't up to what I call Scarpas normal standards

Fantastic

What lovely boots, I have never had such a comfortable pair of boots.
Walked 5 miles on 1st wear and they were great.
So soft and flexible.
With previous boots have ended up with a sore little toe

Great all rounders

Bought these for my husband as he always has cold feet. We no longer do any hiking but as an outdoors guy he needs dry, warm comfortable feet. These fit the bill in every way. perfect fit, true to size, lightweight and not too bulky looking for every day. would definitely recommend.

Best walking Boots

I've had these boots for over a year and I have to say they are the best boots I have bought , they are comfortable and hard wearing , I wear them just about every day , I'll be buying a new pair very soon.

Comfort and Quality

Bought these for my son to wear on his trip to Canada. Unfortunately he didn't have chance to "break them in first". Didn't need to worry though, he hiked miles on first wear and his feet were as comfortable when he took them off as they were at the start of the day. A very reasonable price for such quality is rare. Thank you Go Outdoors!

Scarpa Cyrus

Only had them a month so hard to tell. Will know better when they have a 'good walk' in 'bad' weather. Initial thoughts; from one with size 13, broad feet its good to get a good looking boot that fits fairly well, I'm sure given a few more miles my feet and boots will get to like each other even better.

Too early!

I've been asked to write a review for a pair of boots I've worn about 8 times. They were immediately comfortable but time will tell if they remain waterproof after 12 months.

Great fit - but flawed

Bought a pair in April 2016 - wanted lightweight, good looking nubuck Gtx boots - I use them mainly for walking pooches on defined trails and woodland- + occasional low level hills (I mix wear between various other Gtx boots/shoes) - proof them all regularly with Nikwak products - Scarpa boots were great fit from "get go" however after 6m use - Nubuck uppers excellent, but noted water ingres thru' sole units + soles also felt to be getting thin; informed Go Outdoors and returned them; excellent service + advice from Go Outdoors Inverness - Scarpa gave full credit but comms were delayed by festive period. Now to decide what to replace the Scarpas with; definitely will go with Vibram soles next time.!

Great boots

I've punished these boots in ankle-deep stinking mud, involuntary wading, scrambling up shale slopes, and hiking along sandy paths.

A quick wash and a brush with an old washing up brush and they come up good as new each time. They still look so good that I have occasionally worn them with jeans on nights out.

They grip like you wouldn't believe on all surfaces, EXCEPT some types of concrete in the rain. Wet leaves, slimy rocks, ice paving slabs, manhole covers and ironworks, all no problem. But grip is compromised somehow on certain concrete surfaces when wet.

Other than that, they're wonderfully comfortable, waterproof, dry quickly when you underestimate the depth of a stream, very warm, and easy to put on. They also needed no breaking in, and feel like they were made specifically for my feet.

Disappointed by the lack of durability

I like the immediate comfort of these boots, but in the terrain that I walk in - that's to say on rocky mountain ways - my first pair of Scarpa Cyrus boots lasted less than two years and came apart in several different places - i needed to resort to superglue to eke out their life span. The soles became paper thin and are nowhere near as durable as other soles eg those made of vibram.
A shame because I thought I might have found an ideal lightweight, three season boot for Spain. But not the case.

Wow... If your after some boots for walking on the hills and defined trails but still comfortable enough to wear on the streets, then these are the ones... i tried many different boots and these are by far the most comfortable and lightweight walking boots you'll get. They look great and finely made. I used these on Mam tor in the peak district on there first outing. Was amazed how well they performed and how light on the feet they felt. Not sure there suited for rough and boggy terrain but light hill walks perfect!

Perfect fit and waterproof

I bought these in advance of a two week trip to Portugal in February of this year as a lightweight hiking boot. Although the weather up on the border with Spain was expected to be mild and dry, as in previous years, we were surprised by some heavy rainfall and the boots didn't let one drop in - as with all my boots they had a treatment of Nikwax waterproofer prior to first wearing.

They have been comfortable out of the box and even with no further proofing have remained watertight even through some atrocious conditions in the U.K. And Scandinavia.

An excellent lightweight 'summer' boot.

Bad Fit for Me

As no-one else has mentioned this problem, it may just be me...

I've bought Scarpa boots and shoes for over a decade because I have relatively thin feet and they have fitted me like a glove, with the notable exception of this pair of boots.

Firstly, the heel are too high and this throws my weight on to the ball of my foot. This angle gave me mild nerve pain in my feet while wearing them (which stopped when I stopped wearing them). The sole itself seems thin and overly stiff. The arch support does not align with the curve of my arch. Finally, the laces seem to naturally tighten over the top of my foot which, again, is uncomfortable after a couple of hours of wear.

I've worn these enough that I probably can't return them but will be moving them on,,,

Amazing boots

I bought these boots a replacement to the salomon pair which were lost. They performed amazingly on a walking trip to the peak district where they were put through there passes walking up to and about 20 miles over the 4 days.

As time was short in buying these and going away there was no time to break them in but it seems like it wasn't needed as they felt as comfy as a broken in pair. The slight stiffness in the sole gives nice support on most of the terrain I encountered. I say most as they seemed to slip slightly on slightly smoothed rocks. But all that considered well worth the money and I shall be using these for years to come.

Scarpa Cyrus Mid GTX Men's walking boots

These are the most comfortable boots/shoes I have ever worn. First trip was in pelting rain and they are waterproof!
They also look very fashionable and would not look out of place wearing out and about.
Price is also very good for genuine Gortex product. I would very highly recommend these boots.

Scarpa Cyrus GTX

Very light and comfortable but were worn in rain for the first time today and they are NOT waterproof. Both boots leaked after only 30 mins walking in rain on a paved surface, ie not in wet grass.Disappointed.
