I tend to be totally OCD when it comes to buying kit that I am going to use on a daily basis. My work commute averages 140 miles a week which is a serious amount of miles which encompasses a wide range of terrains. I carry clothes and food so i looked at many bags that are currently on the market. I also trail ride on my time off so I was keen to get a bag that doubled up. After much searching and researching i settled on the Syncro. I am so glad I did....
The bag is well designed, well made and I love it. Loads of good sized storage, compartments for pump,CO2 cannisters, first aid kit are there in abundance.
With out doubt one of my best buys!

Always great from Osprey
Bags you can rely on for technical with comfort!
Great bag for cycling. I used this for the Rat Race Coast To Coast for the cycling legs as well as the 14mile hike/run.
Super comfy bag, really pleased.
My only fault would be the use of the waist strap for running, didn't quite do the job and it bounced around a lot (the strap rides up). But then its billed as a cycling bag - which it does fantastically

Well Worth the Money
I've been so impressed with this bag. Had it for over a year now and used pretty extensively, and haven't had a single problem. Still in top condition.
My initial worry was that I might rip the mesh on the back, but it's very robust so no need to worry about that. The way the air circulates around your back makes for a very comfy hike.
You have three different compartments, the middle with several smaller pockets and zips in to everything organised. Only 15l, but I've done all day hikes, carrying food, water and a small amount of extra clothing for two people and it's been fine.
As for a negative, not a lot to say really. It has been build around a frame so the mesh and back says away form the bag (to allow for circulation), but this can only be considered a negative if you need to fold the bag up for any reason.
All in all, brilliant bag.

Fantastic spacious bag
I did a lot of extensive research to find the ideal bag for hiking and this bag stood out in particular. While it is primarily designed for mountain bikers, it does just as good a job for hikers.
I did a 20km hike recently with this bag and the back air ventilation system worked brilliantly. With standard bags that presses up against your back, you'd be dripping with sweat. This bag however, provided a comfortable airy mesh system that pushed the bag away from my back, allowing sweat to evaporate.
It has many compartments, very spacious for all equipment. I managed to stuff a waterproof jacket in the main compartment and still had plenty of space.
Osprey are a pricey brand but you definitely get what you pay for! Very happy with this purchase.
