Integrated MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System)
MIPS is designed to reduce rotational forces that can result from certain impacts. By integrating it into the retention system, it reduces complexity and weight giving a more compact, better ventilated helmet that fits closer to your head.

The Bell 4Forty MIPS is a solid trail helmet with great protection, MIPS technology, and good ventilation. The fit is adjustable, and the extended rear coverage adds confidence on rough trails. It’s well-built for the price, though comfort could be better for bald riders. Overall, a great value for mountain biking. 4.5/5
