The Mountain Equipment Saltoro Jacket is made to keep you dry and comfortable when you're trekking with a pack through inclement conditions.
It's made using different GORE-TEX fabrics, with heavier layering over the shoulder area to guard against abrasion from your rucksack.
The 'Alpine fit' with articulated, pre-shaped sleeves is completely unrestrictive for all day use, and the proven Mountain HC Hood is a reliable refuge in the worst weather.
The jacket's mountain-ready design makes it ideal for use anywhere you need weather protection that won't hold you back.

Finally, a waterproof jacket on 3rd attempt ......
This expensive jacket is both waterproof and windproof - pricematch it to cut cost. Next size up needed as tight around body & wear a baseball cap to make the hood perfect. Lacks inside / chest pocket

Great for price
Been testing this around the scotish Highlands this Feb. Wind rain snow its fantastic. 70mph snow storms it laughs at. The summits are cold really cold and it's stood up every time. Fantastic value

This jacket will keep you dry walking your dog. On a mountain in conditions it's supposedly designed for, it is not up to the job. The front and side zips allowed rain in, wetting through to the skin.
